Changes

Friday we met Dom for a tutorial to see how we were progressing and if we had any problems. We explained our idea to him, but we were worried about getting hold of actors. After sending the email out the previous week, we hadn’t received any replies from several drama companies and only had one other interest for one role out of three. We were mainly worried about gaining and older actress quickly to play the mother. Dom was helpful, giving us some names of places in the area we weren’t already aware of to try and contact.

After still not hearing back from any actors, I met with Christie, Abi and Chrissie this morning to discuss possible changes to the script. We decided that in the time we had to try and find a suitable actor, it would be more accessible to change the mother into an older sister. We also changed other aspects of the script to make it more understandable of why ‘Ben’ was in this predicament with his sister. We added that his parent’s had died, and that his sister would be the only family he would have left.

Following these changes, we sent out some more emails and hoped to receive some replies back.
